On World Environment Day 2025, Mormugao Port Authority (MPA) inaugurated a 3MWp / 2.25 MW grid-connected solar power plant. Chairperson Dr. N. Vinodkumar led the ribbon-cutting ceremony in the presence of officials from GED, GEDA, and Oriana Power. The event was followed by discussions on expanding renewable energy initiatives within the port, including rooftop, floating, and open-access solar systems.

On 28th May 2025, JCI Farmagudi, in association with TATA Strive and IMA Goa, organized a Menstrual Health & Hygiene Awareness session for 26 students in Farmagudi. The session, led by Dr. Purnima Usgaonker, covered essential information on menstrual health, hygiene practices, and the use of organic sanitary napkins. The event also included the distribution of Josa Organic Pads, generously provided by JCI Senator Ria Patil Chandray.
