A deeply immersive “Nada Brahma” Sound & Meditation Session organised by Model Margao, an initiative of Yogiraj Digambar Kamat, received an enthusiastic response at the Black Box, Ravindra Bhavan, Margao on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
The session was conducted by certified Nada Yoga practitioner Gautam Garudi Naik, who guided participants through a unique sound healing and meditation experience using a range of therapeutic sound instruments.
Welcoming the participants, Yogiraj Digambar Kamat underlined the importance of wellness initiatives in today’s fast-paced world. He stressed the need for creating spaces where people can pause, unwind and reconnect with themselves mentally and emotionally.
Mrs. Neha Kamat was also present and extended her support to the initiative, witnessing the session and the positive impact it created among attendees.
Unlike traditional lecture-based wellness programmes, the Nada Brahma session focused on experiential healing through soothing vibrations and meditative soundscapes. Participants were guided into a deeply calming state through carefully curated sound therapy techniques that promoted mindfulness, relaxation and inner balance.
The event proceedings were smoothly compered by Sameer Surlakar, whose engaging anchoring added warmth and flow to the overall experience.
Around 50 participants attended the session, immersing themselves in the therapeutic atmosphere created through sound healing devices and meditative practices. Many attendees described the session as rejuvenating, peaceful and transformative.
Participants praised the initiative for offering a rare opportunity to disconnect from daily stress and experience complete mental relaxation. Several attendees also expressed interest in participating in more such wellness-oriented programmes in the future.
The initiative reflects Model Margao’s continued commitment to promoting mindful living, wellness and holistic community engagement in Goa.
