A total of 37 units of blood were collected during a blood donation camp organised by Loving Hearts Goa in collaboration with St. Mary's Convent High School, Mapusa, and the North Goa District Hospital, Asilo Blood Bank. The donated blood has the potential to save up to 111 lives, highlighting the power of voluntary blood donation and community participation.

Goa Marks National Voluntary Blood Donation Day with Inspiring Ceremony at Secretariat
Secretary (Health), Shri. Arun Kumar Mishra, IAS, inaugurated the National Voluntary Blood Donation Day celebrations at the Secretariat, Porvorim. Organized by the Goa State Blood Transfusion Council and Goa State AIDS Control Society, the event promoted the theme “Give Blood, Give Hope, Together We Save Lives” and brought together key health officials and stakeholders in support of voluntary blood donation.
