Panaji, Goa | 2026
JCI Panaji successfully commenced JCI Week 2026 with “Sustainable Sipping”, an initiative focused on encouraging sustainability, responsible choices and greater environmental consciousness among members and the wider community.
The Day 1 initiative highlighted the importance of adopting sustainable practices in everyday life and inspiring individuals to make small but meaningful choices that can contribute towards a greener future.
Through “Sustainable Will”, JCI Panaji emphasised that sustainability is not merely an occasional initiative but a responsibility that can become part of everyday living.
The initiative encouraged members and the community to reflect on their choices and recognise how individual actions can collectively contribute to environmental conservation and a more sustainable future.
Sustainability as a Way of Life
JCI Panaji stressed the need to move beyond awareness and make sustainability a consistent part of daily life.
The initiative carried the message that meaningful change can begin with simple steps, responsible decisions and a collective commitment towards protecting the environment.
The Day 1 programme was led by JFM Srushti Nagvekar, President, JCI Panaji, with JC Sudesh Salgaonkar, Secretary, and JC Suraj Sawant, Project Director, playing key roles in the initiative.
With “Sustainable Will”, JCI Panaji set the tone for JCI Week 2026 by promoting a shared vision of a future where sustainability becomes a way of life, rather than just an initiative.
