Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s action-packed spy thriller Alpha has made its way to the OTT platform, giving audiences another opportunity to watch the YRF Spy Universe film from home.
The film, which marks the first collaboration between Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, was released in theatres on July 3 and is now available to stream on Netflix from August 28.
Netflix India confirmed the digital premiere through its social media channels, inviting viewers to join the “Alpha gang” as the film makes its OTT debut.
Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha is positioned as the first female-led film in the Yash Raj Films Spy Universe. The film stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the lead, alongside Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. Actor Hrithik Roshan also makes a cameo appearance.

In Alpha, Alia Bhatt plays Sita, an R&AW agent who undergoes intense training to become an Alpha soldier. Sharvari plays Durga Kaul, Sita’s estranged twin.
The story follows Sita as she is kidnapped and raised in isolation by a rogue commander. As she begins uncovering the truth about her family and her stolen childhood, she joins forces with her long-lost sister to confront her creator and take down an illicit military programme.
Bobby Deol plays the film’s main antagonist, while Anil Kapoor is also part of the spy thriller’s ensemble.

Alpha expands the interconnected universe created by Yash Raj Films, which includes films such as Tiger, War and Pathaan.
The film attempts to bring a new perspective to the franchise by placing two female characters at the centre of an action-driven spy narrative.
