Panaji: Goa will participate in the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2026, with celebrations scheduled from August 9 to August 17, 2026, ahead of Independence Day.
Minister for Sports Shri Ramesh Tawadkar addressed the media and shared details of the campaign, encouraging citizens across the state to actively participate by hoisting the National Tricolour at their homes.
The campaign aims to inspire patriotic spirit among citizens and encourage people to celebrate the nation’s pride by displaying the Tricolour with respect and honour.
During the media briefing, Minister Tawadkar urged Goans to come forward and become part of the nationwide initiative by proudly showcasing the National Flag during the campaign period.
The briefing was attended by Director of Sports Dr. Ajay R. Gaude and Director of Art & Culture Shri Vivek Naik, who were also present on the occasion.
The Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign is being observed across the country as a celebration of national pride and unity, encouraging citizens to strengthen their connection with the National Flag and the values it represents.
As Goa prepares for the campaign, citizens are being encouraged to participate enthusiastically and make the Tricolour a symbol of collective pride and patriotism.
