Verna, Goa: Goa-based health-tech company Molbio Diagnostics Limited is preparing for a landmark moment with the launch of its Initial Public Offering (IPO). The company, known globally for its innovative Truenat molecular diagnostics platform, has announced the price band for its IPO at ₹768 to ₹807 per equity share with a face value of ₹1 each.
The Anchor Investor bidding date is scheduled for Friday, August 7, 2026, while the public issue will open on Monday, August 10, 2026 and close on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

A Global Healthcare Innovation Company With Roots in Goa
Founded in 2000, Molbio Diagnostics has grown into a globally recognised healthcare technology company while maintaining its operational base in Goa.
Headquartered at the Verna Industrial Area, the company operates two major manufacturing facilities — Goa Unit I and Goa Unit II — and has its Registered and Corporate Office at Plot No. L-46, Verna Industrial Estate.
With more than 12,500 devices installed across 90 countries, Molbio has established itself as a key player in decentralised molecular diagnostics.
Its flagship Truenat platform is a portable, battery-operated real-time PCR system that enables rapid disease detection closer to patients, especially in areas with limited healthcare infrastructure.
The platform has achieved global recognition as the only Indian-made TB test endorsed by the World Health Organization (WHO) for initial diagnosis and drug resistance detection.
Employee Participation in IPO
The IPO also includes a special opportunity for Molbio’s workforce. The company has created an Employee Reservation Portion aggregating up to ₹15 million for eligible employees.
Permanent employees may also receive a discount of ₹76 per equity share on the offer price.
This initiative highlights Molbio’s focus on involving its employees in the company’s next phase of growth. The company currently has around 1,225 permanent employees, many of whom are based in Goa.
IPO Funds to Support Expansion
The fresh issue aims to raise up to ₹2,000 million, which will be utilised towards strengthening infrastructure and expanding capabilities.
Key focus areas include:
• Development of a new Research & Development facility and Centre of Excellence
• Investment in advanced manufacturing automation systems at Goa Unit I and Unit II
• Enhancing production efficiency and innovation capabilities
Goa’s Growing Role in High-Tech Manufacturing
As Molbio prepares to list on the NSE and BSE, the IPO represents a significant milestone not only for the company but also for Goa’s emerging position as a hub for technology-driven manufacturing and scientific innovation.
The company’s journey from a Goa-based enterprise to a global healthcare technology player reflects the state’s potential in building world-class businesses.
