Salvador do Mundo, Goa: Empowering the next generation with essential life skills, JFM Srushti Nagvekar, Provisional Zone Trainer of JCI India, successfully conducted the JCI India “Empowering Youth” Training Programme for Class IX students at Smt. Sunandabai Bandodkar High School, Salvador do Mundo, on 16th July 2026.
The three-hour interactive session focused on equipping students with valuable life skills that will help them grow into confident, responsible, and goal-oriented individuals.
The programme began with a warm welcome as JFM Srushti Nagvekar was felicitated with a floral bouquet before taking the students through an engaging presentation filled with practical examples and interactive activities.
During the session, she covered key topics including Life Skills, Goal Setting, and Manners & Etiquettes, encouraging students to build self-confidence, improve communication, develop teamwork, practise discipline, and set meaningful goals for the future.
One of the highlights of the programme was the interactive group activities that kept all 30 participating students actively involved throughout the training. Students enthusiastically shared their ideas, participated in discussions, and learned practical techniques for personal growth and leadership.
Teachers appreciated JFM Srushti Nagvekar’s dynamic and student-friendly approach, noting that her practical examples and engaging delivery made the concepts easy to understand and apply in everyday life.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Miss Kajal Shinde, while Shri Kamlesh Chodankar coordinated the event, ensuring its smooth execution.
The school management expressed its appreciation to JCI India and JFM Srushti Nagvekar for conducting such an impactful programme and reaffirmed its commitment to organising more initiatives that promote holistic student development.
