Panaji, Goa: Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa, Dr Pramod Sawant, released the official PR CONNECT souvenir of the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), Goa Chapter, during the World PR Day celebration held at Mahalaxmi, Altinho, on 16th July 2026.
The release of the souvenir marked an important highlight of the World PR Day celebrations, recognising the growing role of public relations professionals in promoting transparent communication, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and building meaningful relationships across sectors.
The event was attended by office bearers and members of the PRCI Goa Chapter, including Chairman Deepak Narvekar, Vice Chairman Waman Prabhu, Secretary Nikhil Wagh, Treasurer John Aguiar, Joint Secretary Kalika Bapat, Joint Treasurer Jones Samuel, Media Coordinator Nikita Chodankar, and members Anil Patil and Srushti Narvekar.
Speaking on the occasion, the gathering highlighted the significance of ethical communication and the evolving role of public relations in today’s digital and connected world.
The PR CONNECT souvenir showcases the initiatives, achievements, and activities of the PRCI Goa Chapter while celebrating the contributions of communication professionals to society.
The World PR Day celebration served as a platform for industry professionals, media representatives, and communication practitioners to come together and reaffirm their commitment to excellence in public relations.
