Mumbai: Actor Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and filmmaker Sharan Sharma celebrated their marriage with a star-studded wedding reception following their intimate registered wedding on July 11. The evening brought together family members, close friends, and some of Bollywood’s biggest names for a memorable celebration.
The reception was attended by renowned personalities including Bobby Deol, Neena Gupta, and veteran actor Jeetendra, who joined the couple in celebrating their new journey.
Among the first guests to arrive were Akansha’s sister Anushka Ranjan Kapoor and actor Aditya Seal. The couple, who are expecting their first child, made an elegant appearance, with Anushka dressed in a traditional red-and-gold Banarasi saree.
The Bhatt family also marked their presence at the reception. While Alia Bhatt, a close friend of Akansha, chose not to pose for photographers, her parents Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan attended the celebration. Alia’s sister Shaheen Bhatt was also seen arriving with her fiancé Ishaan Mehra.
Videos and photographs from the reception quickly surfaced on social media, showcasing the joyous atmosphere and the warm wishes extended to the newlyweds by their colleagues from the film fraternity.
The reception followed the couple’s low-key registered marriage, reflecting their preference for an intimate wedding before celebrating with loved ones from the entertainment industry.
