Mumbai — Television favourites Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya have announced the arrival of twin baby boys. The couple, married on 8 July 2016 after meeting on the sets of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, revealed the joyful news in a joint social media post earlier this month. Their announcement read in part: “We asked for happiness, God said, ‘Take double.’ Blessed with twin baby boys.”
Today Divyanka posted the first glimpse of the twins on Instagram with a simple, emotional caption: “Thanks for choosing me.” The message and image drew warm wishes from fans and colleagues across the television industry.
The couple had publicly announced Divyanka’s pregnancy on their tenth wedding anniversary, and the twins were born earlier this May. In their announcement post, they wrote: “The wait is finally over… ‘The Boys’ are here and life already feels more beautiful than we ever imagined. Mere Karan Arjun aa gaye! Need all your love and blessings as Div and I begin this incredible new chapter of parenthood.”
Divyanka, known for roles in shows such as Banoo Main Teri Dulhann and as a contestant on several reality programmes, most recently appeared in the SonyLIV series Adrishyam as Inspector Parvati Sehgal. Vivek Dahiya is also a celebrated television actor; the pair remain popular for their on-screen and off-screen chemistry.
Fans and peers flooded social media with congratulatory messages, celebrating the couple’s new journey into parenthood. Divyanka and Vivek have asked for privacy and blessings as they adjust to life with their newborns.
