Dubai-based businessman Satish Sanpal has become one of the most talked-about personalities online after appearing in Netflix’s Desi Bling. While viewers were fascinated by his luxurious lifestyle, lavish properties and high-profile appearances, the businessman is now also facing intense public scrutiny due to multiple reports linking him to criminal investigations in India.
Satish Sanpal, originally from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh, reportedly moved to Dubai at a young age and gradually built a business empire in real estate and hospitality. Today, he is widely recognised as the founder and chairman of ANAX Holding, a Dubai-based business group involved in luxury real estate, investments and hospitality ventures.
According to reports, Sanpal’s entrepreneurial journey began with a small grocery business in Jabalpur. After the venture reportedly failed, he moved into commission-based stock market work, connecting investors with brokerage networks before eventually entering the real estate sector.
Over the years, Sanpal became known for his extravagant lifestyle in Dubai. Social media frequently features glimpses of his luxury cars, lavish residences and elite business events, helping him gain popularity among followers of luxury and business content.
However, alongside the glamour and business success, several investigative reports have alleged that Satish Sanpal is linked to illegal betting operations, hawala transactions and shell-company networks.
According to reports circulating online, at least nine criminal cases have allegedly been registered against him across different parts of India. Some reports further claim that enforcement agencies are examining an alleged ₹1,000-crore betting and hawala network purportedly connected to Sanpal and his associates.
The allegations reportedly include money laundering, criminal conspiracy, cheating and illegal gambling-related activities. Reports have also suggested that a look-out circular has allegedly been issued against him in India.
One report quoted an unnamed Indian official saying, “He has mastered the art of reputation laundering. Every glossy article is timed to bury the criminal record beneath hashtags of success.”
Despite the serious allegations, it is important to note that there has been no public confirmation of any conviction against Satish Sanpal so far. Multiple reports state that the matters remain under investigation and judicial scrutiny.
