Salman Khan briefly deactivates Instagram days after paparazzi hospital row

Actor Salman Khan briefly deactivated his Instagram account on Monday afternoon, leaving fans confused after his profile temporarily displayed the message: “Sorry, this page isn’t available.”

The actor’s social media disappearance lasted only a few minutes before the account became accessible again. While Salman did not issue any official statement regarding the incident, the brief deactivation immediately triggered speculation online, especially in light of his recent public criticism of paparazzi behaviour outside a Mumbai hospital.

The incident comes just days after Salman strongly reacted to photographers who allegedly followed and chased him during a personal emergency visit to Hinduja Hospital. The actor had expressed anger on Instagram, accusing paparazzi of crossing boundaries during a sensitive moment involving someone close to him.

In a series of emotional posts shared earlier, Salman criticised media personnel for attempting to capture visuals outside the hospital and described the situation as deeply distressing. He had also warned against exploiting personal grief for content and public attention.

Following the controversy, photographers later apologised to Salman during the success party of Raja Shivaji in Mumbai. The actor accepted the apology and even joked with them, asking them to say “sorry” louder while posing for pictures with actor Riteish Deshmukh.

The temporary Instagram disappearance led many fans to connect the two incidents, though no confirmation has been provided regarding the actual reason behind the account issue. Some users speculated it may simply have been a technical glitch.

Despite the brief deactivation, Salman’s Instagram profile was restored shortly after, and the actor has continued to remain active in the public eye amid ongoing media attention surrounding the hospital incident and his upcoming projects.
