To ensure safe immersion during Ganesh Chaturthi, Drishti Marine will deploy trained lifesavers at 47 immersion points, including 35 beaches and 12 inland water bodies across Goa. The teams will be present on key visarjan days to assist worshippers, guide rituals safely, and manage emergencies.

Goa Police Leads the Way with First-Ever Sensitisation Training on Disability Rights
In a pioneering move for inclusive policing, Goa Police, in collaboration with DEPwD, the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, and iProbono India, successfully concluded a four-day sensitisation and awareness training on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016. Held from August 18โ21 in Panjim, the training equipped over 650 police officers with the tools to engage persons with disabilities with empathy and dignity.
