Goa Government to Honour ‘The Monte Cruz Stand’ in PJN Stadium, Fatorda

Francisco Monte Cruz (21st March 1945 – 27th August 2024), the man behind the rapid construction of Goa’s iconic Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda, is being honoured by the Government of Goa with a dedicated stadium stand. Built in just 180 days and inaugurated in January 1989, the stadium has since become a major sporting venue. On his first death anniversary, his contribution is commemorated with this fitting tribute under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant.

NDR InvIT Inaugurates 2.35 Lakh Sq. Ft. Logistics Facility in Goa, Expands Regional Footprint

NDR InvIT Trust has inaugurated a 2.35 lakh sq. ft. warehousing facility at NDR Varama Sir on Verna Airport Road, Goa. The space has been handed over to a leading quick-commerce company (~1.06 lakh sq. ft.) and a third-party logistics (3PL) firm handling FMCD products (~1.24 lakh sq. ft.). With this addition, NDR InvIT now operates ~11 lakh sq. ft. in Goa, reinforcing its position as the state’s largest industrial and warehousing space provider.
