India’s Sift Kaur Samra added another feather to her cap by winning the gold medal in the women’s 50m rifle 3 positions event at the Asian Shooting Championship 2025 in Kazakhstan. She also teamed up with Ashi Chouksey and Anjum Moudgil to secure the team gold, pushing India’s medal tally to 19 in senior events.

Goa Police Leads the Way with First-Ever Sensitisation Training on Disability Rights


In a pioneering move for inclusive policing, Goa Police, in collaboration with DEPwD, the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, and iProbono India, successfully concluded a four-day sensitisation and awareness training on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016. Held from August 18–21 in Panjim, the training equipped over 650 police officers with the tools to engage persons with disabilities with empathy and dignity.
