On the 11th National Handloom Day, Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated a special exhibition titled “Kunbi: The Pride of Goan Textile” at Porvorim. Organised by the Goa State Rural Livelihood Mission and the Department of Rural Development, the exhibition showcased traditional handloom work with a focus on the Kunbi weave, a symbol of Goan textile heritage.

Experts Warn of ‘Greenfield’ Mislabeling as Mining Restart Looms over Goa
