Anjuna: On the occasion of Sarvajanik Ganesh Chaturthi 2026, Anjuna Police Station felicitated Shri Rohidas Phadte of Anjuna, recognising his exemplary and selfless contribution towards the welfare of cows and other animals.
With compassion at the heart of his work, Phadte has consistently stepped forward to rescue, care for and support cows in distress, including sick, injured and abandoned cattle.
His continued efforts towards animal welfare reflect a commitment to caring for animals and supporting their well-being.
The felicitation was graced by Shri Vijay More, Former Mayor of Belagavi City and Director of Shantai Vruddhashram, along with PI Krishna Sinari and Shri Pradip Punekar.
