The ongoing controversy surrounding Govinda and Ssunita Ahuja has taken another turn after the actor’s manager, Shashi Sinha, denied claims that Govinda was planning to marry again.
Ssunita had reportedly made the claim during a phone conversation with Rakhi Sawant, saying that she withdrew her divorce petition after learning that Govinda was allegedly planning a second marriage.
However, speaking to India Today, Govinda’s manager Shashi Sinha strongly rejected the claim and said he was surprised to hear about it.
According to Sinha, there have been no discussions about Govinda getting married again.
He said that Govinda is already married to Ssunita and added that there was no question of a second marriage. He also suggested that something may have prompted Ssunita to make the statement.
Manager urges couple to resolve differences
Sinha further said that if Govinda genuinely wanted to end the marriage or get married again, he would have been the person to initiate divorce proceedings.
He pointed out that Ssunita had filed for divorce but later withdrew the petition.
The manager also appealed to the couple to resolve their differences privately, particularly keeping their children in mind.
According to Sinha, Govinda has generally refrained from speaking against his wife publicly, while the recent statements have brought their personal differences into the public domain.
He expressed hope that the couple would be able to sort out their issues and said that avoiding further negativity would be beneficial for their children.
Govinda focusing on work
Sinha also defended Govinda’s character, describing him as a responsible and respectable person who would not intentionally do anything that could have a negative impact.
He maintained that there had never been any discussion about a second marriage and said Govinda is currently focused on his professional commitments.
The latest statement adds another layer to the ongoing speculation surrounding Govinda and Ssunita Ahuja, with conflicting claims continuing to attract attention in the entertainment industry.
