Panaji: The North Goa Collectorate has been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 Certification, recognising its commitment to implementing a structured and effective Quality Management System and ensuring continual improvement in the delivery of public services.
The certification marks an important milestone for the district administration and reflects its efforts towards improving the quality, efficiency and transparency of administrative processes.
The certificate was formally handed over to Collector, North Goa, Shri Ankit Yadav, IAS, by Mr. Santosh Nair and Ms. Sheetal Wader of Progressive Management Consultants. The consultants provided support for the implementation of the Quality Management System at the Collectorate.
ISO 9001:2015 is an internationally recognised standard focused on quality management systems, process efficiency, consistency and continual improvement. Its implementation at the North Goa Collectorate is expected to further strengthen systems and processes related to public service delivery.
The certification also highlights the administration’s focus on making government services more citizen-centric, while promoting greater accountability and efficiency.
The milestone reinforces the North Goa Collectorate’s continued commitment to quality, transparency, good governance and continual improvement in serving citizens.
The achievement comes as government institutions increasingly focus on adopting structured management systems and service-oriented approaches to enhance the overall experience of citizens.
