Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh once again gave fans relationship goals with a heartfelt birthday message for his wife, Genelia Deshmukh, on her birthday on August 5.
Sharing a collection of treasured moments from their life together on social media, Riteish affectionately addressed Genelia as “Baiko”—the Marathi word for wife—and penned a note filled with love, gratitude, and his signature sense of humour.
Looking back at their journey together, Riteish joked that while revisiting their memories, he realised he was the only one growing older.
“My dearest Baiko, I was going through all the memories we have shared, curated, and created, and I realised that I am the only one ageing—you seem completely frozen in time.”
Adding a playful twist, he humorously credited Genelia’s youthful appearance to having “a good husband.”
“But then again, I guess you are truly blessed with a good husband,” he wrote, leaving fans smiling.
The actor then shifted to a more emotional tone, appreciating Genelia for the many roles she plays in their family.
Describing her as the person who keeps the family together, Riteish wrote:
“Happy Birthday to the person who holds our family together — a super mom, a fabulous daughter, a doting sister, and my वेडी बायको!!! I love you.”
The heartfelt post quickly went viral, with fans flooding the comments section with birthday wishes for Genelia and praising the couple’s enduring bond.
Genelia responded with multiple heart emojis, while celebrities including Bhagyashree, Ruslaan Mumtaz, Dolly Bindra, and Vicky Jain also shared their wishes.
A Love Story That Began on Set
Riteish and Genelia first met during the filming of their debut movie Tujhe Meri Kasam (2003). Their friendship gradually blossomed into love, and the couple tied the knot on February 3, 2012.
Over the years, they have become one of Bollywood’s most admired couples, balancing successful careers with a close-knit family life.
