The Kapoor family came together for a special celebration as Anshula Kapoor’s pre-wedding rituals marked the beginning of festivities ahead of her wedding to fiancé Rohan Thakkar.
Actor Shanaya Kapoor shared a series of pictures from the intimate celebrations, offering fans a glimpse into the family gathering filled with smiles, traditional outfits and memorable moments.
The pictures featured several members of the Kapoor family, including Shanaya’s father Sanjay Kapoor, mother Maheep Kapoor, and brother Jahaan Kapoor. Anshula’s siblings Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor were also present at the celebrations.
Sharing the pictures on social media, Shanaya wrote, “we love you @anshulakapoor @rohanthakkar1511”, accompanied by heart and evil eye emojis.
The family was seen dressed in elegant traditional attire, celebrating the upcoming wedding with warmth and togetherness.
Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar’s Love Story
Anshula got engaged to Rohan Thakkar in July 2025 after a romantic proposal in New York.
Sharing details of the special moment, Anshula revealed that the couple first connected through a dating app in 2022 and began talking at 1:15 am — a moment that later became meaningful during Rohan’s proposal.
She shared that three years later, in her favourite city, Rohan proposed in front of the castle at Central Park. The proposal happened at exactly 1:15 am IST, matching the time of their first conversation.
Anshula described the moment as thoughtful, intentional and deeply personal, adding that she said yes through tears, laughter and happiness.
A Kapoor Family Celebration
Anshula Kapoor is the daughter of filmmaker Boney Kapoor and his late first wife Mona Shourie Kapoor. She is the younger sister of actor Arjun Kapoor.
Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, daughters of Boney Kapoor and late actor Sridevi, share a blended family bond with Arjun and Anshula.
Anshula was recently seen on the reality series The Traitors, which is streaming on Prime Video.
