Taking to Instagram, the global star reflected on the special bond she shared with her father and expressed how deeply she continues to miss him. Alongside cherished photographs capturing precious memories, Priyanka wrote, “You and I dancing together always. Miss u dad. You’re always here.. in every decision and every moment of life. Love you.”
The touching tribute resonated with fans and celebrities alike. Priyanka’s cousin, actor Meera Chopra, also shared an emotional response, remembering Ashok Chopra as a kind-hearted man whose infectious laughter and warmth continue to be missed by the family.

Ashok Chopra served as a physician and surgeon in the Indian Army Medical Corps and retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He passed away in Mumbai on June 10, 2013, at the age of 62 following a prolonged battle with cancer.
Priyanka has often spoken publicly about her close relationship with her father. A few months before his passing, she honoured him with a tattoo that remains one of the most personal tributes in her life.
During an earlier appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Priyanka described her father as her greatest supporter and loudest cheerleader, recalling how enthusiastically he celebrated every achievement in her life and career.
