Goa’s Chetan Khedekar Honoured with Prestigious Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar 2024

Goa has added another feather to its cultural cap as Chetan Vaman Khedekar, a resident of Khedem, Priol, Mardol-Goa, has been conferred with the prestigious Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar 2024 by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi.

The award is one of India’s most respected recognitions for young artists and honours exceptional talent and dedication in the fields of music, dance, theatre and traditional arts. Chetan Khedekar has received the honour for his outstanding contribution towards preserving, promoting and popularising Goan Folk Dance and Folk Music.
