Kickboxer Erica De Sequeira brought immense pride to Goa and her academy, Academy of Combat Sports Goa (ACS-GOA), after securing the Gold Medal and emerging Champion in the K1 Fight -50 kg category at the prestigious WAKO Goa State Championship 2026 held at the Ravi Naik Sports Complex.
The championship was organised by the WAKO Kickboxing Association Goa and witnessed some of the state’s top kickboxing talent competing across multiple categories.
Erica’s dominant performance throughout the tournament reflected her discipline, dedication, and relentless fighting spirit. Her victory marked yet another milestone in her growing journey as one of Goa’s promising combat sports athletes.
Adding to the celebrations, Erica was also specially honoured by the WAKO Kickboxing Association Goa for her remarkable achievement at the Khelo India National Championship, where she secured a Gold Medal and delivered one of the standout performances of the tournament.
Training under the guidance of Coach Ronnyy, Erica credited much of her success to the professional coaching, constant support, and motivation she receives at ACS-GOA. Coach Ronnyy’s commitment towards developing strong and disciplined athletes has been instrumental in shaping Erica’s journey in competitive kickboxing.
