Actor and VJ Anusha Dandekar has finally addressed the speculation surrounding her recent cryptic Instagram post after actor Karan Kundrra proposed to Tejasswi Prakash on Netflix’s reality series Desi Bling.
The controversy began shortly after clips from the proposal episode surfaced online. In the viral moments from the show, Karan Kundrra was seen proposing to longtime girlfriend Tejasswi Prakash at a beautifully decorated waterfront venue. The emotional proposal instantly grabbed attention across social media, with fans celebrating the couple’s relationship milestone.
Amid the buzz, Anusha Dandekar shared an Instagram story that read, “I’m thanking God!!! #iykyk.” Although the post did not mention anyone directly, many users online quickly assumed it was indirectly connected to Karan and Tejasswi’s engagement.
As speculation intensified, Anusha took to Instagram once again to clear the air and express her frustration over the assumptions being made about her personal post.
In her clarification, she wrote, “Omg. Clearly, you don’t know, especially articles! When I talk about something specific, I say so. If I’m thanking God for my own reasons, you still make it about that and then come at me for your own assumption! Unreal!”
She further thanked followers who had messaged her privately and hinted that people often jump to conclusions without understanding the real context.
The clarification comes as Karan and Tejasswi continue to dominate headlines with their much-talked-about relationship. The duo first met during Bigg Boss 15 and have remained one of television’s most popular celebrity couples ever since. They are currently also seen together on the cooking-comedy reality show Laughter Chefs.
Interestingly, despite the proposal sequence airing on Desi Bling, Karan and Tejasswi are yet to officially announce their engagement on social media.
Anusha’s response has now shifted attention toward the growing culture of online speculation, where social media users often connect unrelated posts to trending celebrity news without confirmation.
