The much-awaited trailer of Bandar starring Bobby Deol has finally been unveiled, giving audiences a gripping look into the dark psychological thriller directed by Anurag Kashyap.
Set against a tense and mysterious backdrop, the trailer introduces Bobby Deol in one of his most layered roles yet. Far removed from his intense performances in Animal and The Ba***ds of Bollywood, the actor plays a once-famous star struggling with loneliness, fading fame and growing suspicion around him.
The two-minute trailer gradually peels back the layers of his glamorous public persona, revealing a deeply isolated man trapped in a chaotic and dangerous reality. As the mystery unfolds, Deol’s character is seen navigating relationships, crime investigations and a justice system that may not always be fair.
One of the trailer’s most intriguing moments shows the actor casually scrolling through dating profiles before a particular encounter appears to trigger a criminal case that changes everything.
Rather than offering straightforward answers, the trailer keeps viewers guessing about whether Bobby’s character is a victim, manipulator or something far more dangerous.
The film also hints at being inspired by real-life events, adding to its unsettling atmosphere and emotional intensity.
Apart from Bobby Deol, the film features a strong ensemble cast including Sanya Malhotra, Raj B Shetty, Sapna Pabbi, Saba Azad, Riddhi Sen and Jitendra Joshi.
The screenplay has been written by Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee, the creative duo behind critically acclaimed projects like Paatal Lok, Kohrra and Udta Punjab.
Produced by Zee Studios and Nikhil Dwivedi’s Saffron Magicworks, Bandar is scheduled for a theatrical release on June 5, 2026.
