Ketan Bhatikar passed away in the early hours of the morning after being brought to the Dharbandora Primary Health Centre (PHC) from the Biodiversity area of Mollem in Goa.
According to sources, Dr Bhatikar was transported to the PHC in a 108 ambulance at around 3:30 am. Upon arrival, he was examined by Dr Balakrishna, who declared him dead at approximately 3:45 am.
Police were informed immediately following the incident, and the body has been sent for postmortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death.
Authorities stated that all possibilities are being investigated, including a suspected snake bite. However, officials have not yet confirmed the exact reason behind the death.
The sudden demise of Dr Ketan Bhatikar has sent shockwaves across political and social circles in Goa, with many expressing grief and condolences.
