The teaser for Welcome To The Jungle was unveiled on May 15, giving audiences a first glimpse into the madness awaiting in the third instalment of the popular Welcome franchise. Headlined by actor Akshay Kumar, the film promises over-the-top comedy, jungle adventure and complete chaos built around a fake film plot gone terribly wrong.
Also known as Welcome 3, the upcoming comedy takes the franchise in a completely new direction by shifting the setting from urban confusion to a large-scale jungle adventure filled with comic mishaps, action and survival-style situations. The teaser opens with a humorous disclaimer that reads, “In the making of this film, no animals were used. Sivaay kuchh ghodon ke aur hum gadhon ke,” instantly setting the tone for the madness that follows.
The one-minute and thirty-second teaser showcases Akshay Kumar and the ensemble cast attempting to shoot a fake film, only for things to spiral into complete disorder. From staged gunfire turning into accidental killings to bizarre misunderstandings and nonstop confusion, the teaser stays true to the slapstick humour that made the Welcome franchise a fan favourite.
Directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Firoz A Nadiadwala under the banner of Base Industries Group, Welcome To The Jungle is scheduled for a theatrical release on June 26, 2026.
The film marks Akshay Kumar’s return to the franchise after he skipped the second instalment. The movie boasts a massive ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Tusshar Kapoor, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda.
Fans on social media have already begun reacting to the teaser, praising the nostalgic comic vibe and the franchise’s trademark madness. The jungle setting and large-scale ensemble have further increased excitement among audiences waiting for the film’s release.
Akshay Kumar was last seen in Priyadarshan’s horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, which featured Wamiqa Gabbi, Tabu, Paresh Rawal and Mithila Palkar in key roles.
