Anushka Sharma’s Return in New GIVA Ad Sparks Excitement Online

Anushka Sharma has made a much-talked-about return to screens through a new advertisement released on May 12 for GIVA’s Heera collection, and fans across social media are celebrating the actor’s reappearance after a long gap.

The commercial quickly gained attention online after clips from the ad began circulating widely on Reddit and Instagram. While the video initially received a moderate response on YouTube, social media users soon amplified it, turning the advertisement into a trending topic among Bollywood fans.

The reactions reflected a mix of excitement, nostalgia and curiosity. Several fans expressed happiness at seeing Anushka back on screen, with many hoping it signals a return to films.

One user commented, “Comeback ho jaaye?” while another wrote, “So beautiful that I didn’t even notice that it’s an ad and it was about the jewellery.” Another fan excitedly reacted, “OMG she is back to Bollywood.”

At the same time, a section of social media users remarked that the actor looked “unrecognisable” in the advertisement, sparking conversations around celebrity appearances and transformations.

Anushka Sharma made her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the blockbuster Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in 2008. Over the years, she established herself as one of Bollywood’s leading actors with successful films including Band Baaja Baaraat, PK, Dil Dhadakne Do and Sanju.

The actor has largely stayed away from the big screen in recent years, focusing on family life and selective projects, making her latest appearance even more special for fans.

While there has been no official announcement regarding a full-fledged Bollywood comeback, the response to the GIVA advertisement clearly reflects the continued popularity and strong fan following that Anushka enjoys even after years away from regular film appearances.
