Ms. Sandra Fernandes, Chairperson of the GCCI Women’s Wing, was honoured with the prestigious Women Empowerment Award at the 100 ICONIC Women’s Awards 2026, an initiative by Parissa Communications held at NDMC, New Delhi, on May 9.
Adding pride to Goa, Sandra Fernandes was the only woman from the state to receive this distinguished national recognition. The award acknowledged her exceptional contribution towards women empowerment, entrepreneurship development, leadership, and her continuous efforts in supporting women-led initiatives.
Over the years, Sandra Fernandes has actively worked towards creating opportunities for aspiring women entrepreneurs by encouraging innovation, networking, skill development, and business growth through various impactful initiatives under the GCCI Women’s Wing.
Her leadership and commitment towards strengthening women participation in business and entrepreneurship have earned appreciation both within Goa and at the national level. The recognition highlights the growing contribution of Goan women in leadership and enterprise development across sectors.
