Dhurandhar: The Revenge Box Office Day 43: Ranveer Singh’s Film Nears Historic Milestone, Eyes Baahubali 2: The Conclusion Record

Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues its extraordinary theatrical run, completing 43 days at the box office while inching closer to rewriting history. Headlined by Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar, the film has emerged as one of the biggest post-pandemic successes in Hindi cinema.

After six weeks in theatres, the film has collected an impressive Rs 1,135.04 crore nett in India, with a gross of Rs 1,358.51 crore. Despite the expected slowdown in later weeks, the film added Rs 12.40 crore in its latest week, reflecting a steady hold at the box office.

Globally, the film’s total now stands at Rs 1,783.66 crore, putting it just around Rs 5 crore short of surpassing Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’s worldwide benchmark of Rs 1,788.06 crore. Overseas collections have reached Rs 425.15 crore, while India continues to contribute the bulk of its earnings.

The day-wise trend shows a gradual tapering, yet a consistent audience presence. From a massive opening week of Rs 674.17 crore, the film maintained momentum through subsequent weeks, supported by strong word-of-mouth and repeat viewership. Even in its sixth week, daily collections, though modest, have kept the film in circulation without facing major competition from new releases.

As it approaches the 50-day mark in theatres, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is set to achieve a rare milestone in the current market scenario, where theatrical longevity has become increasingly difficult. The upcoming weekend could mark its final stronghold at the ticket window before new releases begin to take over screens.

Featuring an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan and Sara Arjun, the film has struck a chord with audiences through its scale, storytelling and performances.

Released on March 19, the film’s journey reflects a larger shift in audience behaviour, reinforcing the importance of strong narratives and theatrical experiences. As it closes in on a historic box office record, the film stands as a testament to the enduring pull of cinema when content connects with viewers.
