Tabu and Nagarjuna are set to share screen space once again as filming officially begins for Nagarjuna’s milestone 100th Telugu film, tentatively titled King100.
Tabu shared the exciting update on Instagram by posting a photo of the film’s clapperboard placed on a chair. She captioned the post, “And we begin with #King100 #Nagarjuna @annapurnastudios.”
The film marks a major reunion for the duo, who were last seen together in the beloved 1996 romantic drama Ninne Pelladata, which remains one of Telugu cinema’s most cherished classics.
Earlier this year, Nagarjuna spoke about his long association with Tabu and revealed that she was eager to be part of his landmark project. He shared that the two have known each other since the early stages of her career and that Tabu immediately expressed interest when she learned about his 100th film.
While the makers have kept most details under wraps, fans are already excited about the reunion and eager to know more about the cast, storyline, and release plans.
On the work front, Tabu was recently seen in Bhooth Bangla alongside Akshay Kumar, while Nagarjuna was last seen in Coolie starring Rajinikanth.
With nostalgia and excitement running high, King100 is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Telugu projects.
