Shah Rukh Khan’s King Locks Christmas 2026 Release; Makers Drop New Teaser

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for one of the biggest releases of 2026 as the makers of King officially confirmed the film’s theatrical release date. The highly anticipated action drama will release worldwide on December 24, 2026, making it a grand Christmas blockbuster contender.

Red Chillies Entertainment made the announcement on Friday by unveiling a fresh teaser across social media platforms. The production house captioned the teaser:

“A ROAR loud enough to shake the KINGdom. #KING arriving on 24.12.2026. #ItsKINGTime.”

The teaser offers another glimpse into Shah Rukh Khan’s intense action avatar, featuring high-octane sequences, larger-than-life visuals, and stylish cinematography. Fans have been eagerly waiting for updates ever since the project was announced last year.

Directed by Pathaan filmmaker Siddharth Anand, King also marks the big Bollywood debut of Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, who previously made her acting debut with Netflix’s The Archies.

The film boasts a star-studded cast including Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Jackie Shroff, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Arshad Warsi, Raghav Juyal, and Abhay Verma.

During his birthday event in November 2025, Shah Rukh had revealed that his character in King will also share a romantic storyline with Deepika Padukone, further increasing fan excitement.

The buzz around King began when the title teaser was launched on Shah Rukh’s birthday last year. His silver-haired look, intense action sequences, and the dialogue “Darr nahi, dehshat hoon” quickly went viral online.

Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, King is shaping up to be one of the most awaited films of 2026. With its Christmas release now officially locked, fans are expecting yet another massive box office storm from SRK.
