In a major boost to tourism and cultural celebrations in Goa, Sankalp Amonkar has announced the first-ever Mormugao Summer Fest 2026, set to take place on April 25 and 26 at Headland, Sada.
Organised in association with Goa Tourism Development Corporation, the event aims to promote Goaโs vibrant culture, tourism potential, and local talent.
Speaking alongside Kedar Naik, Amonkar shared that the two-day festival will feature a wide range of attractions including a spectacular drone show, traditional Dindi processions, Shigmo celebrations, folk dances, live music performances, entertaining acts, and several engaging activities for visitors.
The event is expected to attract both locals and tourists, creating a platform to showcase Goaโs cultural richness while supporting artists and performers from the region.
With a mix of tradition and modern entertainment, the first edition of Mormugao Summer Fest promises to be a grand celebration aimed at strengthening tourism and community participation in the coastal constituency.
