Goa’s tourism sector has recorded an impressive 6.23% overall growth in tourist arrivals from January to September 2025. Domestic arrivals rose by 5.36%, while international arrivals surged by 29.33%. Tourism Minister Rohan A. Khaunte highlighted Goa’s strides toward responsible, sustainable, and year-round tourism, driven by new policies, better regulation, and expanding global connectivity.

In celebration of World Tourism Day 2025, Goa Tourism, in partnership with TTAG, SKAL International Goa, and the Yuva Tourism Clubs, is rolling out a month-long series of heritage walks, culinary experiences, nature trails, and inclusive tourism events across the state — positioning Goa as a model of regenerative, youth-led and year-round tourism.
Goa Tourism is set to spotlight its vibrant and sustainable tourism offerings at OTDYKH Leisure 2025 in Moscow, Russia, from 10–12 September. Under the theme “Sunshine and More in Goa,” the state will showcase its beaches, wellness, culture, adventure, and community-driven tourism at Pavilion B13.
