The Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC), in association with the Departments of Tourism, Art and Culture, and Information and Publicity, has announced a special tour for the Tripurari Poornima Boat Festival on 5th November 2025 at Vithalapur, Sankhali. The festival celebrates Goa’s rich cultural traditions with a moonlit boat show on the River Valvanti.

The two-day festival brought together innovative student minds from Goa and Karnataka to explore sustainable solutions that preserve and restore Goa’s unique cultural and environmental heritage.

At the National Tourism Ministers’ Conference held in Udaipur, Goa showcased its forward-looking tourism strategy centered on sustainability, connectivity, and community-driven growth. Hon’ble Tourism Minister Shri Rohan A. Khaunte presented key initiatives including the Mega Performance Arena in Pernem and the Lord Parshuram Statue & Museum in Canacona, marking Goa’s commitment to regenerative tourism and diversified visitor experiences.
