Nursing students of Harmal Panchkrishi Shikshan Mandal’s Nursing College visited the Indian Red Cross Society, Goa Branch, gaining valuable exposure to humanitarian services, disaster management, blood donation initiatives, and community health activities. The visit offered practical insights beyond the classroom, enriching their understanding of nursing roles in community welfare.
Secretary (Health), Shri. Arun Kumar Mishra, IAS, inaugurated the National Voluntary Blood Donation Day celebrations at the Secretariat, Porvorim. Organized by the Goa State Blood Transfusion Council and Goa State AIDS Control Society, the event promoted the theme “Give Blood, Give Hope, Together We Save Lives” and brought together key health officials and stakeholders in support of voluntary blood donation.
