“It’s never too late.” After starting her studies seven decades ago, Maryette McFarland from Londonderry, Northern Ireland, has finally graduated with a degree in English Literature. Having paused her education in the 1960s to get married, she returned to learning online with the support of her family — proving that dreams truly have no expiry date.
