Goa marked World Tourism Day 2025 with a month-long celebration of regenerative and inclusive tourism, led by the Department of Tourism under the guidance of Hon’ble Minister Dr. Rohan Khaunte. The campaign featured over 30 immersive events involving communities, students, and visitors across Goa — highlighting the state’s commitment to sustainability, culture, and accessibility.
In celebration of World Tourism Day 2025, Goa Tourism, in partnership with TTAG, SKAL International Goa, and the Yuva Tourism Clubs, is rolling out a month-long series of heritage walks, culinary experiences, nature trails, and inclusive tourism events across the state — positioning Goa as a model of regenerative, youth-led and year-round tourism.
Manohar International Airport (GOX) has launched e-Wheelchair services to enhance accessibility for passengers with mobility needs. Operated by Aroon Aviation Services, the service is available at INR 800 and ensures comfortable transit from terminal entry to the boarding gate. This initiative reflects GOX’s commitment to inclusive and passenger-friendly travel.
