In preparation for the International Purple Fest Goa 2025, GTDC has enhanced accessibility at its Miramar Residency by converting three rooms into specially designed, disability-friendly accommodations. Inaugurated by GTDC Managing Director Kuldeep Arolkar, this initiative supports Goa’s vision of becoming a Divyang-friendly state and highlights the state’s commitment to inclusive tourism and hospitality.
In a pioneering step towards inclusive tourism, Goa celebrated International Tourism Day 2025 with its first-ever Inclusive Boat Cruise—bringing together over 60 persons with disabilities and allies for an unforgettable experience on the Mandovi River.
On September 27, Goa Tourism hosted its largest-ever Stakeholders’ Meet at Grand Hyatt Goa to mark World Tourism Day 2025, celebrating achievements, recognising contributions, and reinforcing its commitment to inclusive and regenerative tourism under the theme “Goa Beyond Beaches.”
