Former Minister and current Priol MLA Govind Gaude will take on the lead role in Parikrama Knowledge Terminus’ theatrical production “Desh Raag,” based on the life of freedom fighter Bala Raya Mapari. The play will be staged at Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda, on October 29 at 7 PM, celebrating courage and patriotism through art.
“Eggsistential Cracksis” — a powerful solo performance blending humor, heartbreak, and introspection — comes to The Flying Goat, Anjuna, on October 18, 2025. Using the humble egg as a metaphor, this “eggsperimental” play explores love, identity, and the chaos of modern existence in a raw and emotional journey of self-discovery.
The Pai Tiatrist Auditorium in Margao remains closed for essential roof repairs and is expected to reopen by May 30. Despite the ongoing delay due to monsoon rains, the venue will host the Shyam Benegal Film Festival as its first event after reopening. Additionally, significant upgrades to the auditorium’s technical facilities are planned for later this year, in preparation for the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2025.
