Despite the ongoing delay due to monsoon rains, the venue will host the Shyam Benegal Film Festival as its first event after reopening. Additionally, significant upgrades to the auditorium’s technical facilities are planned for later this year, in preparation for the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2025.
