Hovyo: Echoes of the Past, a documentary directed by Goan filmmaker Tanisha Pawar, has been officially selected for the International Tagore Film Awards (ITFA) 2026. The film, created as a final-year project at St. Xavier's College, Mapusa, documents Goa's fading oral folk tradition and highlights the need to preserve its rich cultural heritage.
