The southwest monsoon officially withdrew from Goa on October 13, marking an earlier retreat by one day compared to its usual withdrawal date of October 14. This year, the monsoon arrived early on May 25, nearly 11 days ahead of the typical onset (June 5โ6). The state experienced two major rainfall spells towards the end of the season โ on September 30 and October 10 โ before the skies finally cleared.
