On September 27, Goa Tourism hosted its largest-ever Stakeholders’ Meet at Grand Hyatt Goa to mark World Tourism Day 2025, celebrating achievements, recognising contributions, and reinforcing its commitment to inclusive and regenerative tourism under the theme “Goa Beyond Beaches.”
To mark World Tourism Day 2025, Goa Tourism, in collaboration with TTAG and SKAL International Goa, hosted immersive cultural experiences in Mulgao Village and a special Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour around North Goa. Hon’ble Tourism Minister Rohan A. Khaunte emphasized the importance of community-led, sustainable tourism, while students from Bal Bhavan joined an engaging educational tour through Goa’s heritage, highlighting the state’s evolving tourism strategy beyond beaches.
At a Seva Pakhwada event organized by the Directorate of Official Language and Government College, Khandola, noted Konkani writer Zilu Gaonkar called on citizens to make use of government language schemes and promote Konkani through daily communication.

Themed “It’s About Time”, the event celebrated expression, connection, and creativity in a truly inclusive space.
