On October 12, 2025, St. John the Baptist Church, Pilerne, hosted its annual Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Loving Hearts Goa and the North Goa District Hospital (Asilo) Blood Bank. The event brought together donors, volunteers, and supporters for a vital cause.
Secretary (Health), Shri. Arun Kumar Mishra, IAS, inaugurated the National Voluntary Blood Donation Day celebrations at the Secretariat, Porvorim. Organized by the Goa State Blood Transfusion Council and Goa State AIDS Control Society, the event promoted the theme “Give Blood, Give Hope, Together We Save Lives” and brought together key health officials and stakeholders in support of voluntary blood donation.
Loving Hearts Goa, in collaboration with the Fr. Faustino D’Souza Social Service Institute, Divya Gyan (Canacona), and South Goa District Hospital (Hospico), organized a successful Blood Donation Camp on September 26, 2025. Out of 45 individuals who came forward, 29 were able to donate, marking a significant community effort.
On September 20, 2025, Mary Immaculate Girls’ High School in Panjim, Goa, hosted a successful Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Loving Hearts Goa and the GMC Blood Bank. With support from the MOHAN Foundation and SAAMAS Group, the event saw 50 successful blood donations and raised awareness on the life-saving impact of organ and tissue donation.
Victor Hospital, in association with BJP Goa, organized a blood donation camp in Margao as part of Sewa Pakhwada 2025, commemorating the birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji.
