Goa Tourism has launched a transformative Homestay and Bed & Breakfast Scheme aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs and revitalising hinterland tourism. Announced by Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant and Tourism Minister Shri Rohan A. Khaunte, the scheme offers financial grants, training, marketing support, and simplified registration for homestay operators in rural Goa. With a strong focus on community-led and regenerative tourism, this initiative marks a bold step towards diversifying Goaโ€™s tourism landscape beyond beaches.
