At the Museum of Goa’s MOG Sunday session, journalists from the People’s Archive of Rural India (PARI) shared powerful stories of displacement caused by large development projects in Maharashtra, including the Samruddhi Mahamarg expressway and hydropower initiatives. These reports shed light on the struggles of rural communities uprooted without compensation, loss of livelihoods, and the harsh realities faced by children denied education. The session emphasized the importance of grassroots journalism that builds trust and tells these stories from the perspective of those most affected.
