Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Ramayana has received legal protection against piracy from the Bombay High Court ahead of its November 5 release.
The court has restrained unauthorised recording, uploading and streaming of the film. It has also directed digital platforms to take down pirated content, aiming to prevent the unauthorised circulation of the movie.
The legal intervention comes ahead of the film’s release, with measures intended to protect its content from being distributed or accessed illegally.
With the order in place, unauthorised sharing and streaming of Ramayana could face legal action under the applicable directions of the court.
